AMS Bulk Density Soil Sampling Kit with Compact Slide Hammer

This kit includes the components needed to obtain accurate interval-specific core samples to a depth of 3 feet. The 2˝ x 2˝ soil sample rings are constructed of .062w SST tubing and are ideal for collecting undisturbed core samples. Each ring has a volume of 90.59 cubic centimeters. Using this known volume and the weight of the sample liner, you can calculate the bulk density of a soil sample. The core sampler cap features a built-in waste barrel that offers 2˝ of relief and helps to eliminate both compaction from overdriving the sampler and the need to load multiple rings inside the sampler. Kit includes: core sampler cup, core sampler cap, compact slide hammer attachment, 2-1/2˝ open face auger, 2-3/4˝ regular soil bucket auger, 2-3/4˝ planer auger, 2´ extension rod, 18˝ rubber-coated cross handle, 25 2˝ x 2˝ stainless steel rings housed in their own aluminum carrying case with foam inserts, 50 2˝ plastic end caps, 2 adjustable wrenches, auger cleanout tool, nylon cleaning brush, impact-absorbing hammer, and deluxe carrying case with handles and wheels for convenient portability.
