Would not recommend this tape. We use it in the field as archaeologists and I was excited to find a tape with english/metric. However, the first time we used this tape in the field, the tape broke off approximately 0.35 tenths from the end, which was very frustrating. The second time we used the tape, the knob broke off from the reel, making it very difficult/uncomfortable to reel the tape back in. This is a very poor quality item.
Average performance for Fiberglass Tapes. We use them in field settings and the tape often rips. Unfortunately, they do not make any stronger material tapes with feet and 10ths of feet on one side and meters/cm on the other. Wish somebody would though, since 10ths of feet and metric is often used by archaeologists working on civil engineering projects.
