#33220 fit my council forge Hudson Bay axe perfectly after oiling it up really well. Would have been better if there was a welt to protect the blade from potentially hitting the rivets

Like on of the other reviewer's on this page, I purchased this sheath for my son's 2 1/4 lb boy's axe by Collins Axe. High quality leather and construction. Very thick leather. It is very stiff when you receive it so we used baseball glove conditioner on it which softened it and created a pleasing, darker color. It is a great quality sheath for a great price.

I purchased this leather axe cover for my 2 1/4 Collins Single Biy forged Boys Axe with 28" hickory handle. It fit perfectly and is high quality. I used shoe polish to add a cognac tint and the leather absorbed the polish like a champ!

I ordered this sheath for the Council® Hudson Bay Single Bit Axe, item #33108, that I bought at the same time. Fit was a little tight. I dampened the leather slightly, which made it VERY flexible, and molded it by hand to the axe head, then let it dry on the head overnight. The fit was perfect. I then treated the sheath with several coats of SNO-SEAL. Heating the leather slightly with a hair dryer allowed the beeswax to penetrate very well. I expect that the sheath will last as long as I have the axe.. Very pleased with the combination.

I had a Cold Steel Trail Boss hatchet. CS does not provide a cover. I order Forestry Suppliers axe cover #33130. It was a little tight, but after lube, warmth, and setting, fits perfectly. Great product and price.
