Description

Respro Fire Brigade Mask, Medium

Made of flame-retardant Neoprene, the mask has holes which allow air to pass through freely. An adjustable nose clip on the top of the mask permits a tight seal on the face. The replaceable filter has two exhalation valves which attach easily to the mask shell.

WARNING! These products are not intended to replace a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus. They are not meant for use in enclosed or confined spaces. The products do not supply oxygen or filter out carbon monoxide (CO). They are not designed to filter silica, asbestos, or spray paint operations. Please follow all instructions provided with the products. Note: This mask does not provide heat or flame protection, nor does it provide complete respiratory protection from all gases or particulates. This mask is not intended to replace a Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus. It is not meant for use in enclosed or confined spaces. The mask does not supply oxygen or filter out carbon monoxide (CO). The mask is not designed to filter silica, asbestos, or spray paint operations. Please follow all instructions provided with the products.

For the Respro FB-1 Fire Brigade Mask (Item #23802), sizing is based mainly on face length (nose bridge to chin) and overall head circumference. In most cases: • Medium fits individuals up to about 5'9" with average to smaller face structure. • Large fits individuals over 5'9" or with a broader face or jawline. If you’re between sizes, it’s generally better to choose the larger size for comfort and a proper seal. For cleaning and storage, Respro recommends removing the filters before washing. Hand wash the mask in warm, soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and air dry completely before reinserting filters. Store it in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight or extreme temperatures.
Is this NFPA or NIOSH approved for wildland firefighting, or is it just a dust mask?
This product does not carryr a NFPA or NIOSH rating for fighting. It is a dusk mask.

Great product, breathable, and comfortable to wear. Love the fact that the nose bridge piece is removable as well. Have been using it for over a year now doing RX burns and just switched the filter out. Amazing to see how much I would have inhaled without it.
