Wagner Meters Orion 950 Pinless Wood Moisture Meter Kit
An all-in-one solution for measuring wood moisture content! The Orion 950 provides non-damaging, pinless measurement of wood moisture content from the surface down to 0.25˝ (shallow scan mode) or from the surface down to 0.75˝ (deep scan mode). The meter sends data to your Android or Apple smart device using Bluetooth® technology, allowing you to record data, set specifications for separate jobs, and more. An Equilibrium Moisture Content (EMC) calculator determines if a wood specimen has reached its equilibrium with the environment and will no longer gain or lose moisture. A built-in sensor provides ambient temperature and relative humidity measurements. The Orion 950 also calculates current dew point and the grains per pound/kilogram (specific humidity of the air) compared to relative humidity. The meter can measure practically any softwood or hardwood species in the world as well as non-solid wood products such as plywood, OSB, or MDF and many bamboo flooring products. Also features IntelliSense™ Technology to ensure accurate determination of moisture content deeper in the wood, 30-second calibration, a HOLD function, auto shutdown, and an audible alarm for high moisture content levels. Includes meter, paired on-demand calibrator, rubber protective boot, 9V battery, instruction manual, and foam-lined ABS plastic carrying case. 7-Year warranty from the manufacturer.
