Specifically designed for shallow groundwater investigations and long-term monitoring programs, this manually operated sampling kit is ideal for low-flow groundwater sampling and precise water level measurements up to 12 ft. (3.66 m) below ground surface. Built for rugged field conditions, this kit provides a semi-permanent access point for consistent, repeatable data collection across geotechnical, hydrogeological, and environmental applications. A 1-3/4 in. (4.45 cm) regular auger is included for pre-drilling boreholes or clearing excess material between sampling intervals. At the core is a durable stainless steel drive-point piezometer, measuring 1-1/4 in. (3.18 cm) X 14 in. (35.56 cm), featuring a removable screen and spring assembly for thorough decontamination between uses. This preserves sample integrity during multiple deployments. With a 7/8 in. (2.22 cm) internal diameter, the piezometer supports various low-flow pumps—including bladder, peristaltic, and inertial (with foot valves)—making it well-suited for project-specific and regulatory-compliant low-flow groundwater sampling. It also accommodates bailers and 3/8 in. (0.95 cm) and 5/8 in. (1.59 cm) water level meters for accurate groundwater table monitoring. During installation and removal, male-to-male couplers maintain a uniform outside diameter along the drive string, enabling smooth push and pull operations in the field. For sampling through or beneath contaminated lithology, this kit includes 1-1/4 in. (3.18 cm) expendable tips with a stainless steel #50 mesh screen, protecting the drive-point piezometer while ensuring accurate sample recovery. A twist-to-lock connector enhances efficiency by simplifying post-run tubing deployment during sampling.
