“Football-helmet tough” plastic cases and PVC-coated, 1/2˝W yellow fiberglass lines. High speed rewind – 3:1 gear driven. Tapes resist stretch and extreme weather conditions. Nonconductive material, black and red markings on yellow background. Folding rewind handle and folding end hook on all models.

Good tape. We measure water stage via tape-down measurements, which can wear on fiberglass tapes and stretch them out. These Lufkin tapes last the longest of the ones we have used thus far in this application.
We use these underwater in rough Pacific Ocean conditions and they have held up for almost a year now - which is 10-12 times longer than any other tape we have tried. The only problem is that we tend to lose them, so I just order six at a time!
