iEvac American Certified Smoke/Fire Hood

The iEvac Smoke/Fire Hood is the only American Certified smoke/fire hood designed to provide reliable personal protection when escaping fire-related hazards including heat, smoke, gases, and particulates. iEvac protects against carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, other toxic gases (sarin, hydrogen cyanide, chlorine, ammonia, sulfur dioxide, tear gas, OC, and more), and harmful particulates (soot, fumes, and aerosols). A pleated HEPA filter removes sub-micron particles such as fentanyl, anthrax, smallpox, and radioactive particles. At 9.5 inches the iEvac can withstand up to 1700°F (927°C) in radiant heat. Features include a silicone neck dam to maintain the highest level of protection, twin filters for easier breathing, a clear hood that provides an unobstructed field of view, and high-visibility reflective strips for easy recognition during emergency situations. Designed for quick and easy donning, the iEvac is maintenance-free, latex-free, and can be used with eyeglasses, beards, and long hair. As the only American Certified (ASTM E2952) Smoke/Fire Hood, the iEvac undergoes a rigorous process that includes initial and annual certification testing at an independent laboratory, and in compliance with quality assurance requirements, including ISO 9001 registration.
