- Will Stump Stop work its magic on Russian Olive tree / brush stumps? Thanks.
- According to the current Stump Stop label, Russian olive is listed as a susceptible species under woody plants controlled by triclopyr. The label groups it with other invasive or hard-to-kill brush species. Here is the relevant portion of the approved species listing from the label: • Alder • Ash • Aspen • Birch • Blackberry • Blackgum • Boxelder • Cherry • Cottonwood • Dogwood • Elm • Hawthorn • Hickory • Locust • Maples (many species) • Oaks • Olive, Russian • Persimmon • Poplar • Sassafras • Sumac • Sweetgum • Willow Russian olive appears directly in the label’s woody-plant section, which means Stump Stop is approved for use on that species and will control it when applied according to the directions.
