Hanna Instruments HI 98198 Optical Dissolved Oxygen Meter
Ideal for measuring dissolved oxygen concentration in field or laboratory settings, this meter uses optical DO technology which doesn’t require a minimum flow rate and delivers fast, stable readings. Built-in methods and calculations for the measurement of Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD), Oxygen Uptake Rate (OUR), and Specific Oxygen Uptake Rate (SOUR) eliminate the need for manual conversions. The meter stores up to 4,000 readings, and the AutoEnd button automatically holds the first stable reading on the display. Data transfer to a memory stick, computer, or Android device is seamless thanks to the USB-C port. A large backlit display ensures visibility of measurements, and the dedicated GLP key allows for traceability of data by including date, time, pressure, calibrated value, temperature, and salinity value of the last calibration. The Quick Connect probe requires no membranes, no filling solution, and no warm-up time. The meter’s Smart Cap features a built-in RFID reader that stores important data for increased traceabilty. IP67-rated waterproof body. The meter, probe, and necessary accessories are housed in a rugged carrying case. Two-year manufacturer’s warranty.
