I have used May Watts' Tree Finder book with over 23 years of college students. Her book is clear, easy-to-use, and descriptive. College students of all levels of experience can use this book with ease and gain understanding of tree characteristics.
The kids will love this track finder book, perfect size and just as described.
Would not recommend this book because it does not have colored photographed pictures of the trees. Does not show the difference of trees with different bark. Like the Ponderosa pine bark looks different from other pine trees; they don’t even have a colored photograph to show the difference of that. Does not show the differences in trees that look similar in appearance. Not good for people with no experience in trees.
