Durham Geo Torvane Shear Tester
Easy to use, just turn the dial until the soil gives. The shear strength is recorded on the dial. Dial reads in kg/cm2 (tons/sq. ft.) with 0.05 divisions. Includes three interchangeable vanes for testing various planes of soil samples: Standard 1˝ vane for 0 to 1.0 kg/cm2 range; Sensitive 1-7/8˝ vane for 0 to 0.2 kg/cm2 range; High-Capacity 3/4˝ vane for 0 to 2.5 kg/cm2 range. Includes plastic case.
