Garmin^{^®} eTrex Series GPS Receivers

These 12 parallel channel GPS receivers offer convenient one-handed operation. Each unit has operating buttons on the sides, allowing room for a large display screen on the front. The easy-to-follow menus make marking your position easy. Waypoints can be identified quickly with the handy graphic icons. View current time, date, and battery level on the main menu page. By assigning a name and symbol to locations, future identification is easy with the mark waypoint feature. Water resistant to IEC-529, IPX7 standards. Batteries not included.

In addition, the eTrex GPS receivers are all WAAS (Wide Area Augmentation System) capable. WAAS is a system of satellites and ground stations which provides GPS signal corrections and delivers improved position accuracy – down to 3 meters or less (95% typical)! This level of accuracy is possible because WAAS corrects for GPS signal errors caused by ionospheric disturbances and timing and satellite orbit errors. WAAS requires no special receiving equipment or service fees.

The eTrex Legend H and Vista H each include a PC cable. The eTrex H, Summit HC, Venture HC, Legend H, Legend HCx, Vista H, and Vista HCx all feature a high-sensitivity GPS receiver for peak performance in any environment, including heavy tree cover and canyons. A USB cable and MapSource Trip and Waypoint Manager software are included with the color models only.
