MyTopo Terrain Navigator Professional Version 9.5 DVD, Georgia

Official USGS topo maps have been scanned to produce the highest quality maps available! Maps are available in these scales for the continental US: 1:24/25,000 (7.5 minute series) and 1:100,000. Maps are found quickly using the graphical index map, or search by address, map name, coordinates, ZIP code, or over 50 types of place names such as rivers and summits. In addition, upon Internet registration, you will also have access to download aerial photos* (for one year) within the state region that you buy. These high-quality digital USGS maps and 1 meter color aerial photos* can be viewed in 2-D or 3-D and can be added to PowerPoint presentations and Word documents. Other features include Google™ Earth Interface, easy export of data to Google™ Earth, a Street Layer which displays the current street map superimposed on the topographic map and aerial photos, a Polygon Tool that creates basic shapes while computing (and automatically displaying) their area, a “Splitter” window control for side-by-side (or top-bottom) display of two maps (and/or aerial photos), web links that automatically open web pages relating to the current geographic location, PDF document creation directly from the Print window, and Project Synchronization for automatically sharing your markers, routes, tracks, and geopins with other copies of Terrain Navigator Pro on your mobile device or with coworkers. GPS features include the transfer of Marks, Routes and Tracks from your PC into popular GPS receivers; the transfer of Marks, Routes and Tracks from your GPS back to Terrain Navigator Pro to analyze where you’ve been on a detailed map; LOC and GPX geocaching format support; the ability to connect a GPS to a laptop and turn it into a moving map display; and an extensive set of tools for drawing, analyzing, managing and printing GPS waypoints, routes, tracks, and marks. You can also export routes, tracks, marks, and other line, point, and area data as shape (SHP) files into ESRI software. Shape files can be directly imported into Terrain Navigator Pro. Topo/aerial maps can be exported directly to custom map compatible Garmin units. Other features include: PLSS (Public Land Survey System) bearings and waypoints, support for geo-referenced digital pictures, line-of-sight height offsets, 3-D “fly-around” video clip recording, and download of maps to your hard drive for convenience and faster performance.

*Aerial photos require a subscription to be viewed. The first year’s subscription is included and one-year subscriptions after the first year are available from the manufacturer.
