MapStar TruAngle
An excellent alternative to using a total station, the TruAngle works seamlessly with your Laser Tech TruPulse Rangefinder to generate 3-D measurements by capturing X, Y, and Z coordinates. TruAngle's encoder is unaffected by local magnetic interference, making it an ideal tool when mapping in urban environments, near heavy equipment, or around buildings. Angular accuracy will not be compromised in these areas. The fine adjust wheel and friction lock deliver precise aim and stable measurements. Additional features include on-board routines to calibrate sensors, a mechanical bubble for quick setup, a user-friendly two-button interface, and a backlit display. Dual serial ports allow for communication in from the laser and out to data collectors. The serial output format is compatible with most GIS field data collection software and GPS/GNNS products. The Bluetooth® Loop Function syncs with compatible TruPulse Bluetooth models and adds the horizontal angle measurement to the laser’s data string. Includes TruAngle unit, mounting brackets, laser data cable, download cable, 2 AA batteries, and operator's manual.
