Description
Reconyx HL2X HyperFire 2 Cellular License Plate Camera, AT&T Networks
Due to their reflective nature, license plates have always been very difficult to photo capture, especially at night. The HyperFire 2 HL2X camera reliably documents license plates on vehicles traveling as fast as 50 miles per hour (80 km/h) day or night. Color images by day and No Glow covert Infrared images by night. NoGlow™ GEN3 High Output Infrared night vision reaches out to 50 feet (15 m)! The Image Sensor provides High Definition images and videos. The nighttime images are crisp and clear with no graininess or blurring, while the daytime photos are rich in color and clarity. Security Series Cameras are equipped with additional features such as Loop Recording (over-riding beginning images so the camera will continue to record once the memory card is filled) and Advanced Multi-Scheduling (programming the camera to only operate during set hours of the day and different days of the week). Select from the regular HyperFire 2 HL2X or one of the 4G LTE Cellular Enabled versions (Verizon or AT&T). The cellular models allow you to receive images from your camera almost anywhere in the world through the Reconyx Mobile App for Android® or iOS®. Cost-effective data plans are available directly through Reconyx starting at only $5 per month with no long-term contracts.

This is the gold standard of remote surveillance. The IR leds seem to last 2-3 years. Will still function perfectly during the day, but the LEDs no longer work. That said, you can easily get year-round photos for less than a dollar a day. Forestry Suppliers has the best deal on these cameras as they accept discount codes and offer rewards. Making this partnership about as good as it gets.
