J.R. Fire Tools Scalper Head

Custom designed by a professional wildland Fire Captain with nearly 20 years of experience! These patent-pending wildland firefighting tools meet U.S.F.S, Cal-Fire and B.L.M. specifications and provide unique, specific functions that no other hand tools offer. Featuring large heads with 3 sharpened sides, these heads are created with a special heat-treating process that makes them superior to other hand tools. The Scalper’s wide head makes it great for moving moderate to large amounts of material with every swipe. Use the side to chop small stobs and plants. Curved blade provides true 10-1/4” ground-to-blade contact (11-1/4” overall width). 11-1/4” Tall blade for 5” of digging depth. Four tines with indents help to move large debris piles. Handle/Neck kit must be ordered separately.
