Council Set of Irons TD30 Halligan/FE6 Flathead Fire Axe Set (6 lb.)

The Council version of the IRONS features a TD30 Halligan tool married with your choice of an FE6 6 lb. or FE8 8 lb. Forcible Entry flathead axe; each with 32˝ Hickory handle. The TD30 is forged in one piece and designed for maximum forcible entry. The slot in the axe heads allows both the axe and Halligan to be carried together without strapping–a light tap on the axe head sets the bond, and a tap to the handle releases. Working ends are heat treated for maximum strength and wear resistance. The fork, horn and pry are designed for leverage and strength. Widths and tapers are intended to allow easy penetration. Made of .987˝ Octagonal 4140 steel with a lacquer finish to showcase the natural steel and provide an easy to maintain finish while deterring rust.
