Council Forcible Entry 6 lb. Flathead Fire Axe, 32˝ Hickory Handle
Used in all manner of municipal fire fighting applications, these 6.0 lb. Forcible Entry Flathead fireman’s style single bit axes with curved American hickory handle help to reduce fatigue and injury. The cutting edge is approximately 5˝ in overall length and the poll is square. Other features include a forged 4140 steel head, a tapered wedge shaped blade, an extended poll, the top of the head is flat to stand on its own, and the axe head is hydraulically seated onto handle and secured with a traditional wooden and steel wedge. Hand-sharpened, tapered bit for cutting.
