Great Torch, Great Design. Previous negative Review by Anonymous said no flame? User was LIKELY USING THE WRONG FUEL MIXTURE.
Great tool! Does cost more than the traditional drip torch, but WELL WORTH the added expense. If you've burned enough, you know where I'm going when I say, "You know those places where the fuel loading is too low beside the fire lane and you have to go 'over there' to get to a spot that will light up?" If you answered yes, this is your tool! Not a problem, just point and squeeze and you'll light it up out there at 10-12ft away. Also great for reaching underneath overhanging objects where flicking backfire mix is difficult with a drip torch.
I was excited to purchase the Panama Flamethrower about 10 years back for our Deer Club. Unfortunately, I have never been able to get this thing to work!!! The wick/fire end never shot any consistent fuel or never a flame. We tried several times and absolutely no result. It has since sat in its original box with a loss of $600 poorly spent money. Very Disappointed
