Silky saws are very sharp and quick to cut. The last Silky saws I bought though had too much play in the handle locked open position. My older Silky saws do not, so that's why I'm giving four stars not five. Hopefully, it was a bad run of saws.
First... fast shipping! Second... I used my Pocketboy (fine teeth) right out of the box (10 minutes after getting it) on some fallen palm fronds. Wow! It cut through in no time. I was impressed. I love the clear plastic case with the hook (can be used with a belt). The handle feels good, and it has a hole in it to hang on a peg or to run a cord through. It opens and closes really well (there is a screw to adjust the tension). The blade fits in the handle to make it a compact item. The blade has two notches in it by the pivot point. This allows the blade to be locked straight or at a slight angle. This seems like the ideal tool for small quick jobs. I look forward to using it a lot!
Great for quick fine pruning of shrubs and small trees. Easy to store in your pocket or belt.
