Standard Midwest Tongs Gentle Giant Snake Tongs, 40”L
Designed for heavy-bodied snakes, these tongs have a 2-1/4” wide gentle grip that spreads the pressure over a wider area on the snake’s body without squeezing down on or between a rib and causing injury. The top jaw of these gentle tongs is triple rubber coated to create drag on top of the snake’s body while the lower jaw is polished for a smooth surface which reduces a snake’s ability of forward motion. Constructed of blue aircraft grade aluminum tubing with a concealed stainless steel cable and spring.

This product is great. It works exactly the way it should we are getting very proficient. The snake was not harmed and could be released far away. Very well made.Grips well. I used for several black snakes (non poisonous), but I would get the longer one for a poisonous snake.
