Description
Bird-X Bird-Proof Liquid Spray, 1 Gallon
One Gallon
Keeps pest birds from roosting or landing on trees, shrubs, vines, beams, and most broad surface areas. The sticky liquid spray makes surfaces tacky and uncomfortable to birds, causing them to avoid the transparent substance. This environmentally safe liquid formula works in any weather, on almost any surface. Can be applied with either a power sprayer or a hand sprayer with a discharge pressure of more than 40 psi. For Pigeons, House Sparrows, Starlings, Sea Gulls, Blackbirds, Crows, Cowbirds, Grackles, Woodpeckers, Ravens, and other pest birds. One gallon covers up to 120 square feet of surface or an average tree with a five inch diameter trunk. A thorough application protects for one year or longer.

We have had problems with Pigeons on our Church roof. It is a tall, 12/12 roof pitch and they must like the view. We had the roof reroofed with brown colored shingles a couple years ago and the one end at the top is all white with poop. There are many shingle granuals missing and the roof life has been shorten alot. A friend told me about this product ( along with Tanglefoot ). I ordered these products this spring, applied the tangle foot sticky caulking to the ridge and sprayed the Bird "X" to the shingles on both sides, just using a hand pump up garden srayer. Well that was the last we seen of those pigons for months. I will say I sprayed the Bird "X" over a lot more then 120 s.f., but it worked, now its about 6 months and the pigeons are back, so it's time to reorder and spray again. I did put more Tangle foot on the ridge and that has kept them off the ridge, but they are setting on the sides. The product does work ! I believe if I used the spray at 1 gal/120 s.f., it would have lasted the full year, but I have a 6000 s.f. roof. The only dislike is that the spray darkens the shingles.......but would rather have some discolored shingles over the white poop roof with hundreds of pigeons on Sunday Mornings. Todd K. -- Neb.
