We ordered these stakes as a way to tag our study plants in the greenhouse. They worked very well with the metal tags we used to number each plant with, but they started to rust almost immediately. This is very cumbersome since once they rust, it is very hard to get the metal tags on and off of the stake. The rust also transfers onto skin and stains clothing and seems to be getting worse overtime. These are great if the rust does not bother you or impact your research. I wish the stakes were made out of the same metal our tags are made of because those don't seem to be rusting at all.
