AMS Deluxe Hay & Forage Probe, 12˝

Ideal for obtaining representative core samples for rapid visual inspection and laboratory analysis, this 7/8" diameter probe features a heat-treated serrated tip, a gold-zinc plated chromoly body, and a chamfered extraction slot. The probe requires a 1/2" chuck drill (24V recommended) for use. This deluxe probe includes the probe body, top cap with drill adapter, bottom cap with retainer snap ring, 3˝ x 12˝ (1 liter) plastic liner, and two 3˝ plastic end caps. The plastic liner can hold approximately 20 samples. Remove the liner by unscrewing the top cap with the built-in drill adapter. The sample can be emptied into a bag, or the liner can be sealed with plastic end caps and sent to the lab. For best results, empty the sampler after each core has been taken to eliminate unnecessary compaction and obtain a more accurate core.
