Forestry Suppliers Extension, Stainless Steel, 4’

Extensions are constructed of high strength 1” tubing for extra durability. Each is permanently marked in 6” increments for easy depth measurements! Available in Carbon Steel or Stainless Steel in 2’, 3’, 4’, or 5’ lengths.

Note: Carbon Steel extension fittings are carbon steel, remainder of extension is stainless steel.

I love these pinned hex connectors, with the loose pins, not the built in spring-driven ones (those gum up and fail too quickly). I have used the stainless hex parts on my augers for years in saltwater, sulfidic mud, and sulfurous marshes. The welds definitely discolor over time, but it is more of a patena than corrosion, and these parts seem like they will last almost forever. I like the versatility and try to get everything with these fittings, but alas, not all items are available with it.
