AMS Deluxe Fiberglass Auger Kit

Ideal for use in areas where buried electric cables may be present, this fiberglass auger kit is designed to help protect against possible electric shock. The two-piece 36˝ tile probe features a rounded safety tip, detachable plastic handle, and zinc-plated extension rod. Perfect for locating irrigation, power, and water lines, the tile probe should be utilized as a primary device in determining if it is safe to use a hand auger at the sampling location. The two 4 ft. fiberglass extensions are sealed with a protective, non-conductive coating that is moisture-resistant and prevents fiberglass bloom and splintering. Insulated leather gloves are also included to eliminate the risk of fiberglass slivers. Threaded fittings on the extensions are wrench flatted and zinc-plated. Both a regular auger and a mud auger are included to provide versatility depending on the soil conditions. An 18˝ rubber-coated cross handle allows you to work easily with less effort. The AMS Signature Series thread design on the extensions, augers, and cross handle ensures easy connection and disassembly. Vinyl carrying case included.
