When sampling soil with a hard pan this tool is a must! Have also used it to keep sampling when soils get too dry for a manual probe. Often times you don’t have the luxury to wait for conditions to be right. A sample must be collected so fertilizer can be spread. This will work you hard but you’ll get your cores.

Great product. Me and my team sample thousands of acres every fall and spring. This product allows us to keep sampling as soil moisture diminishes as well as sample high clay soils.
