Hanna Instruments pH/Conductivity/TDS High-Range Tester
This rugged, high-range tester provides accurate pH, conductivity, TDS, and temperature measurements. Results are shown on an easy-to-read LCD display, and the tester features a pH electrode cartridge with an extendable cloth junction that ensures long life. The EC/TDS conversion factor and temperature compensation coefficient (ß) are user-selectable. This waterproof meter is designed to float and features an EC/TDS graphite electrode, automatic temperature compensation, automatic one-point or two-point pH calibration, HOLD function, automatic shut-off, simple two-button operation, and switchable °F/°C readout. Battery percentage is displayed during startup, and the Battery Error Prevention System guards against inaccurate measurements. This is the first ph meter I have ever used. Instructions were complete and detailed. Field results were not as stable as I had hoped, but the error was likely user based, or some other variable that I have not accounted for.
We have purchased several of these meters for use in-house and by our clients. They offer a simple interface and reliable functionality. The labeling on the buttons is a bit counter-intuitive to the novice user. Calibration is simple. For the money; this is a must-have.
