Pickaroon

I do agree with a previous review...that the angle on the tip of the head makes it difficult to stick and pick up pieces of fire wood etc., however this "pickaroon" works well for collecting and dragging brush...and for hooking and dragging brush/ etc. out of a truck bed....

I use this tool in a commercial setting, processing logs into firewood, and it works great for reaching, hooking, and dragging on the inbound conveyor, and then clearing the split wood, and pulling it onto the outbound conveyor. Been using same tool for two years and haven't broken it yet.

The pickaroon is light and balanced. The angle and the cut does not allow the pickaroon to stick into the wood. The edge is sharp but is strange angle and would not stick into any wood. I usually have to hit it 3 times to hook the wood to stand it up, but would not pick up even small split wood. I will try grinding it down to a sharp point and not a flat sharp edge.
