I thought this publication was extremely helpful. The field techniques are clear and understandable. I’ve used it with my students each year and find it a great addition to my curriculum. A ready-made field experience makes it easier on me.

Based on the description, I thought this book would be instructive on how to use Excel and other spreadsheets to analyze ecological data. It DOES NOT do that at all. There are 2-3 pages that show how to import an analysis patch, but that is it. It is not apparent from this manual that the author has ever opened a spreadsheet. This was not what was advertised in the description and basically a waste of $30.
