This paint leaves a poor mark that doesn't last. I marked a second thinning last spring and by the time the job was being cut (mid summer) the marks were very faded on many of the trees (loblolly pine). This resulted in me having to go back through the stand and remark many trees. The $5 per gallon I saved cost me $1,000 worth of my time. Only use this product if the harvest is going to take place immediately after you mark!
