AMS Stainless Steel Bomb Sampler

Includes Stainless Steel Bomb Sampler with three Bottom Extensions (3˝, 6˝ and 12˝) only.

Used to obtain liquid samples from the top, bottom, or any intermediate level of storage tanks, tank cars, ponds, lagoons, and wells.
For discrete sampling, a suspension nylon rope is connected to the sampler body cable and used to lower the sampler to the desired depth. A second rope attached to the inner rod cable is pulled, allowing the sampler chamber to fill. Releasing the rope allows the plunger to seal, holding the sample inside.
When sampling where sludge may be present, use the appropriate length Bottom Extension to sample the liquid just above the sludge layer. When the sampler reaches its sampling point, the tip or tip extension pushes the spring upward to disengage the seals and collect the sample. Once retrieved, empty the sampler by pushing the tip or tip extension upward.
