1 Meter collapsible scale can be configured in either 10 cm or 20 cm segments by simply adding or subtracting elastic shock cords. This versatile square allows you to make drawings more or less detailed depending on the size of the feature you’re recording. Includes a set of 6” adjustable legs that lift the scale off the ground and away from artifacts. Allows you to cut plan view drawing time of features and floor anomalies in half! Lightweight and durable powder-coated aluminum frame is segmented with elastic cord.

I was so impressed by the original that I bought the new deluxe model. This has the facility to have the frame set up with 10cm or 20cm or 50cm - makes it really easy to mark out 50cmx50cm test pits too. Comes in a sturdy bright red carry bag. Powder coated yellow, square-section aluminum tube, tough nylon fittings, and excellent shock-cord lines (in their own red bag) make for a very professional looking piece of kit. fairly light weight for its size. Thoroughly recommended.
