I have been using RITR Mini-Notebooks in over 50 projects as a consultant geologist. They are easy to slip into a shirt top pocket and are durable in the tropical conditions I often work in. They maintain their strength, readability and are writable despite being soaked in perspiration or covered in mud and dust (which whipes off). Althouth I don't use the RITR red pen very often, the ink tends to bleed after a time, black never has. Plastic sleeves covers are a good addition for keeping the covers cleaner and preventing its abrasion.
