Forestry Suppliers Field Book

Great field book that withstands the various field conditions. I use it daily for diagrams of construction details for reporting and notes on field conditions. Other technicians use it to keep track of testing results and details for reporting. Overall my go to field book for logging equipment use and reporting data.

The #49352 Field Book is a very good value, and holds up quite well under the rigors of drilling and site reconnaissance. However, the advertised measurements do not agree with the actual measurements of the book: 4-7/8 in. by 7-1/2 in. instead of the advertised 4-1/2 in. by 7-1/4 in. Not a significant difference but needs to be kept in mind for those who are interested in fitting the field book into a cover, etc.

I work with road building engineers who absolutely love the Field Book and can't go without them! They tell me they are sturdy, durable and the size is excellent....not too small and not too big. I started using one for my own notes, mileage, office reminders, etc. I find I'm lost without it!

Our drillers and GeoProbe operators love these field books. They hold up under the worst conditions, and don't fall apart before they finish filling them up. Our field geologists used them during the oil spill cleanup on the Kalamazoo River last year, and the books were up to the task.
