The eTrex series from Garmin has been a standard in forestry for nearly 20 years. This latest version the 22x has been a solid piece of field equipment in my cruising pack when precise locations and navigation are necessary. Locks on to position fix quickly and holds signal well under dense canopy.
Does exactly what I need. No issues. This is my first GPS and I found it easy to use.
