I have been using the 22" machete on my land surveying crews for years. I have tried several brands over the years; hands down, the best. I don't like that they are now double what they first cost! Hah.

I purchased the 22” Ontario machete for my husband when we purchased our farm. I had also purchased a different brand machete for him to try. Between the two, I will say that the Ontario far exceeds the quality of the other machete Inhad purchased. Actually, the blade on the that machete broke while he was clearing a trail through the wooded portion of our property. The Ontario has withstood several outings around the property, clearing brush and pruning tree limbs of different thicknesses. He was so impressed with the 22” Ontario Machete that he asked me to order the 18” Ontario to complement his foresting arsenal.

Great machete, very solid and holds up in cold weather. Rivets on the handle dont seem to last, but they hold up better than the Seymour.
