Council Tool 7 lb. Sledge Eye Splitting Maul with 36˝ Wood Handle
This 7-pound sledge-eye style splitting maul has a compact head, with a concave-wedge shape to the blade, and wider body to give more “pop” to the split. The head is balanced from front to back, with a slightly tapered poll that can be used to “finish” a split, without having to drive the blade back into the opened split, potentially driving it further into a splitting stump or into the ground. 3-3/4˝ Bit length from toe-to-heel. 7-3/8˝ Overall head length from bit-to-poll. 36˝ Axe eye straight American hickory handle.
