Ochsenkopf Hand Hookaroon

This will be the second Ochsenkopf hookeroon I have purchased. I still use my First one (with it's original American Hickory handle) daily year round. I roll logs, pick wood stove and 24" Fireplace logs with it, besides pulling larger logs and picking up slash to pile it. I have used the Redhead, and the Peavy pickeroon & hookeroons and while they all seem satisfactory in their use the only one that sticks first whack and has very seldom had to be re-stuck is this one. The Forged Head has proven unbreakable and aside from touching up the tip with a file when I accidentally strike a stone it holds it's point way better than the Red head and equal or better than the Peaveys I've owned. I not only log for A living I also process and sell rough cut Pine and Spruce and Process and sell Ponderosa Pine Firewood, I work Monday thru Saturday, can't stand inferior tools and these set the measurement by which I judge others by.
