Gränsfors Bruk Swedish Carving Axe, Right Bevel
Use for artistic wood sculpture, hewing bowls, wooden objects and architectural work. The curved shape of the cutting edge combined with the position of the edge in proportion to the handle, the thicker bit and the big angle of the wide beveled face make this axe a good carving tool allowing you to cut with curved movements. The rugged handle provides a good grip. The face measures 4-1/3˝ and the hickory handle is 14˝L. The head weighs 2 lbs. Comes with a full-grain leather sheath. Backed by a 20-year manufacturer’s warranty.
