In addition to a range of up to 38 miles, this two-way radio features 36 channels, offers a talk time of over 15 hours, and incorporates a NOAA Weather Alert Radio that provides severe weather alerts. The radio’s 121 privacy codes offer up to 2,662 channel options to block other conversations. Adjustable HI/LO transmit power helps to conserve battery life. eVOX voice activation features nine levels and allows for hands-free operation. This water-resistant radio also features five call alerts, a backlit display, auto squelch, roger beep, keypad lock, monitor mode, a silent operation function to turn off all tones, and a headphone jack. A battery meter keeps you informed of the radio’s power status. Pair of radios, belt clips, rechargeable battery packs, desktop charger, AC wall adapter, and Micro USB charging cable included.
