Channel announcement confirms which channel you are communicating on, and the model featuring a display (29336) lets you assign each channel a user-defined name. In addition, NOAA Weather Alerts (available on 29328, 29330, and 29336) provide official weather warnings, watches, and forecasts 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Advanced Voice Activation (VOX) offers hands-free operation, and a tri-color LED interface allows for easy identification of radio features and status. An antimicrobial coating helps prevent the growth of mold and germs on the surface of the radio. Meets Military Standard 810 C, D, E, F, and G as well as IP55 specs.
