158-Piece Trauma Kit

I received the 158 part trama kit after a fairly long time of being on back order, and once the kit arrived, I removed everything from the bag (after setting aside the environmentally friendly packaging materials for reuse) so I could check off each item from my inventory list. Everything that should be in the kit was in the kit. On top of the materials I added sutures, needles, pain relievers, a number of other hard compress wraps, and basically filled it out with materials suitable for chainsaw damage, sunburn, snake bite, bear mauling, tree limb puncture, pretty much adding specific items to tailor the basic trama kit for my needs. The American Red Cross has better First Aid books, one of which I added to the kit which specifically deals with delayed medical response and wilderness First Aid. In all, it was a good purchase. The inventory goes in to the empty zippered pocket on the front along with pens to write down what's been used so that the inventory of medical supplies can be maintained. It makes everything self contained and portable.
