Description
Obenauf's Heavy Duty Leather Preservative, 4 oz.
Originally developed for use on wildland firefighting boots, this preservative restores lost oils to revive dried and sun-faded leather. Made with natural oils, beeswax, and propolis (an antibacterial tree resin), the smooth cream melts into the leather when applied by hand and buffs to a shine. Treated leather repels water, acids, petroleum, salt, and chemicals. Also helps boots resist scuffing, abrasion, stitch tear, and premature cracking in flex areas. Made in the USA.

Reviews
I've used Obenauf's for over 5 years now to condition the leather boots I use for outdoor work and hiking. They've helped my boots survive desert sands, polar vortexes, flash floods, donkey dung and daily wear and tear. I highly recommend this to anyone who appreciates the value of full leather boots. Be cautioned, the wax will darken the color of the leather. But over time this effect fades away until the next conditioning. I've also read that Obenauf's is good for wood and metal as well, though I haven't tested this out personally.
