The aluminum handle of these logging peaveys make them stronger and easier to use than traditional wood handled logging peaveys. The bright blue handle is easy to see around a sawmill or woodlot. The heat treated, zinc plated hook is built to last, and the textured rubber grip is easy to hold.

Worth every penny Indestructible and well designed. You dont need it; until you do and then its a life (and back) saver. I much prefer this over the cant hook for general tree work.
Im not a professional tree cutter but I own 20 acres of hunting land. Trees fall over our trail all the time. This log stand installed on the Log Rite cant hook works great to support the tree and allows safe cutting to save your chain from hitting the ground. It is SO EASY to use! And it is Heavy Duty construction. Watch the videos on the Log Rite web site to learn more about it. I would buy this one over the Stihl because I think Log Rite makes them for Stihl and then Stihl charges a lot more for them. I also use it at home. We have just over an acre with lots of trees so I end up cutting down trees and then use the cant hook for sawing.
Very sturdy and the long handle really gives some leverage.
