Description

Justrite Type II AccuFlow Safety Can (Oil), Green, 5-Gallon

These safety cans provide fast, precision pouring when handling flammable liquids. The patented, innovative manifold automatically vents for smooth, glug-free liquid flow, and the comfortable Safe-Squeeze® trigger offers maximum control when pouring. A 9” flexible metal hose ensures targeted pouring into small openings. The fill port features an ergonomically designed handle that makes filling easy. Safety features include a long lasting stainless steel flame arrester that dissipates heat to prevent flashback ignition and a gasketed, self-closing, leak-tight lid that automatically vents to guard against rupture or explosion. The warning label features an extra large ID zone that permits the user to identify contents, department location, or individual user name. All can sizes have extra capacity for mixing in additives for two cycle engines. All cans meet OSHA and NFPA standards and are FM Approved and UL/ULC Listed. Ten year manufacturer’s warranty.

This fuel can is the largest permitted by OSHA for fuel transport and meets all requirements for a (somewhat) reasonable price. I believe that better choices exist, but not without paying quite a bit more and with limited sizes available, so for now this appears to be the best option available for someone that has a budget. We use these red cans in 5gal. capacity as well as blue cans in 2gal capacity for mixed gas and it seems to work reasonably well, but they are somewhat prone to damage on a jobsite and in the back of our service trucks.
