Schonstedt Spot Magnetic Locator
Following in the tradition of Schonstedt’s iconic GA-52Cx, the Spot offers the addition of modern ergonomics and improved environmental performance. The Spot detects the magnetic field of ferromagnetic objects such as survey pins, markers, and nails; water and gas valves; manhole covers; and other deep iron/steel objects. The frequency of the audio tone increases as the detected signal strength (gradient field intensity) increases. The Spot locates objects up to 18 feet deep and features single-handed operation with no knobs. IP54 rated overall, waterproof up to 27˝ from bottom tip. Includes padded case. Seven-year manufacturer’s warranty.
