Best I've found for addressing deer browse of black walnut/oak/tulip poplar seedlings. Before, deer were gradually killing my tree seedlings by browsing. I started with the RTU, then switched to the powder (10 bags/order). Follow the mixing directions exactly, filter twice thru a paint filter (included) and you're fine. I spray in late April at bud break, then every 3-4 weeks. (My deer pressure is pretty incredible) I use 1 powder packet in 12 gallons of water and spray about 1500 seedlings with a UTV sprayer. Takes me about 2 hours. Clean your equipment thoroughly when finished. I add a balanced foliar fertilizer to the tank and the tree seedling growth rates are really amazing. At my house in town I use the same mix around my vegetable garden, otherwise the deer eat everything. My wife uses it on her shrubs and flowers. Remember, follow mixing instructions exactly if you use the powder, and filter twice! Great stuff.

It may have worked OK but (as per manufacturer's label) product is dried blood. It constantly formed clots (literally) in my sprayer and clogged more often than it would spray - particularly at the end. Awful to clean up afterward.

I have had very serious browsing damage from elk and this product has significantly cut down the damage to the new seedlings we planted. My survival rates are up and topping of the young trees is way down.
