Forestry Suppliers Fertilizer Tablets, 5-Gram, Case of 2,100
Compressed, nutrient-rich tablets supply all the nitrogen, phosphorus and potash needed by seedlings for two years after transplanting. Also contains magnesium, sulfur and iron. Greater amounts of nutrients are released during the active growing season when bacterial activity is greatest. Very little is released during the cool, dormant season. Seedling roots mass around the tablet to absorb released nutrients, allowing less fertilizer to leach away. Convenient tablets make it easy to control the amount of fertilizer and prevent seedlings from being “burned.” Tablets are available in 5-, 10-, or 21-gram sizes. Instructions for use included.

Bought these to use when planting Christmas trees in a field that needs additional nutrients. I cannot yet rate how well they work. However, I can rate the quality of the product. The package was shipped in another box with packing peanuts and was not damaged. However, when I opened the box many of the tablets had turned to powder or had broken into smaller pieces. We are applying the product by using a small scoop that was the same size as a tablet. I'm not sure how that will work, but trying to deal with the cards we were dealt and use what we had.
